Brianne Ripley and Jessica Brown are best friends who share a passion for clothing and decorating. Natives of the Capital District, they opened a seasonal consignment shop called Old is New. Brown is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose and UAlbany. She lives in Glenmont and is married with two daughters. Ripley is also married with three boys and lives with her family in Albany. She graduated from UAlbany and spent time at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Old is New is open June 13-17 at the Albany Academy Field House, entrance on Hackett Boulevard, at 135 Academy Road in Albany. Read more...
